Our applications will focus on enabling our users to provide time-critical, life-saving communications to residents and businesses utilizing our risk intelligence, visualization, and alerting platforms.What You'll Do:

Work collaboratively with a global team of full-stack developers and UI Designers.
Develop using modern web technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Java, Python)
Develop using modern platform technologies (Kubernetes, Serverless, AWS)
Participate in Scrum processes
Work across the entire Everbridge platform, implementing new capabilities
Collaborate across engineering teams and guide adoption of best practices within the team
Participate in routine maintenance of the system to include software deficiency resolution
Willingness to learn new skills and technologies

What You'll Bring:

5+ years of experience with front-end development using JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React)
3+ years of experience in full-stack development in a Java or Python full-stack environment.
2+ years of experience in a cloud-based deployment environment (e.g. AWS)
1+ years experience with containerization (e.g. - Kubernetes, Docker)
Ability to take UI designs and implement them into a structured frontend framework.
Experience working with DevOps automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, salt)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
Ability to work independently and remotely while also being able to work closely with team members and collaborate with other teams.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Experience with geospatial technologies
Experience working with public safety projects
Systems experience (e.g. Linux, AWS VPC, IAM, etc.)
