You will be motivated, enthusiastic, and a highly professional Doctor, who is ready to work as part of a dynamic team, delivering quality equity-focused mental health care.The Intake & Assessment service provides mental health triage, acute assessments, short term treatment interventions, risk assessment, psycho-education, and support of people experiencing urgent mental health and co-existing drug and alcohol issues. The Home Based Treatment service delivers an acute clinical to service users either in their own home or in a community facility enabling the service users to receive treatment with minimum disruption to their lives.About the Team/Service/ LocationThis role provides clinical leadership for our acute community team, and has the opportunity to contribute to policy, procedure and service development, and supporting the team through the next stages of health sector reform.
