Roofer - WaikatoTradestaff is looking for experienced Roofers to join reputable teams across the Waikato. Work on a variety of quality projects with crews that value a solid day's effort and take pride in what they do.Your day-to-day may include:
Inspecting roofs to assess repair needs
Measuring and cutting materials to spec
Installing shingles, metal, and other roofing products
Laying underlays, vapour barriers, and insulation
Replacing damaged joists or plywood
Sealing joints, flashings, and roof penetrations
Removing old materials and installing new systems
Working from ladders, scaffolds, or harnesses
Reading plans and drawings accurately
Keeping job sites safe and tidy
Collaborating with other tradies on site
What we're looking for:
Proven roofing experience (essential)
Full New Zealand driver's licence, confident towing and reversing a trailer
Your own tool belt, drill, impact driver, string line, tin snips, and basic hand tools
Site Safe (or willing to obtain - we can help)
Working at Heights ticket a bonus
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
What's in it for you:
Pay rate: $30-$36 per hour depending on experience
Monday to Friday hours - no weekends
