We're looking for an experienced Landscaper to assist with grounds maintenance work in Dunedin Central. You'll be working across a range of outdoor tasks on university property - a hands-on, physical role ideal for someone who enjoys being outside and getting stuck in.Day-to-day duties include:
- Mowing and edging lawns using power tools
- Pruning, trimming, weeding, and general garden maintenance
- Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and laying mulch
- Spraying or spreading fertilisers, herbicides, and insecticides
- Installing support wires, garden decorations, and irrigation systems
- Assisting with minor construction tasks such as mixing and pouring cement
- Using hand and power tools for general property upkeep
- Other outdoor tasks including de-icing, power washing, and bin clearing
- Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
- A willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- To complete a University of Otago induction (provided by us)
- Weekly pay
- Potential for ongoing work
