We are looking for a skilled and motivated Motor Vehicle Technician to become a valuable part of our workshop in Roscommon.We are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to perform a variety of duties, including the diagnosis, repair, and servicing of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a specialisation in either Kia/Hyundai or VW models and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional work. Perform vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, with a specialisation in either Kia/Hyundai or VW models.

Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately identify mechanical and electrical faults.
Adhere to manufacturer specifications and company procedures for all work performed.
Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work completed.
Order parts and equipment as needed, managing inventory efficiently.
Ensure the work area is clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with the service advisory team.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician.
A relevant automotive qualification (e.g., FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent) is preferred.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
A full, clean driver's license is preferred.
An International Driving Permit (IDP) is preferred but not required.
Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Ireland.

Benefits

Annual Salary: €34,900 - €45,000, depending on experience.
