We bring our experienced construction knowledge to diverse projects —from commercial fitouts and interiors, specialist lab and medical works, seismic strengthening, refurbishment, and new builds.The opportunity now exists for an experienced Site Manager - Special Projects to bring their wealth of knowledge to the team, and make a real impact.About the RoleYou will work as a Site Manager in the Special projects team, running and managing small projects for the Auckland and Northern region of the Hawkins business. This will involve being the project lead for various opportunities, as well as working within a project team on larger scale projects. You will ensure all work is undertaken safely and within time and quality criteria whilst maximising margin and enhancing the image of the company.Candidates will have a background in a site management capacity. You will have the tenacity to drive projects to be delivered at the highest standard and a successful performance record of running projects on program.To be considered for these roles you will have:· A minimum of 5 - 8 years' site management experience, ideally with a main contractor.· Exposure to working on a range of construction projects.· Solid understanding of relevant legislation and industry compliance standards· Strong focus on planning and working to the program at hand· Solid knowledge of construction methodologies· Passion for health & safety and providing strong leadership and enforcement of company policies and procedures· Strong people and leadership skills with the ability to manage complex relationships with multiple stakeholders using positive means.· A relevant trade or tertiary qualification is preferred, but not essentialWhy Hawkins Special Projects?This is an exciting opportunity that doesn't come around often.
