- Tertiary qualification in a related discipline for example in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or media management
- 3+ years' communications experience in public health, or related sectors
- Proven expertise in use of social media, and website platforms
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Knowledge of the health system, risk management, and management in complex environments
- A flexible, adaptable approach with the ability to respond to changing needs quickly and easily
- Experience in applying critical thinking and using sound judgement to develop options and provide advice, particularly in leading complex work
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities and meet deadlines whilst preserving high levels of accuracy
