That’s why we’re on a mission to shift riders from synthetics to natural fibres designing high-performance merino apparel that doesn’t mess up the places we love to play.An exciting opportunity has opened up in our head office team in Wanaka to cover maternity leave for our Head of Systems and Operations.What does that mean?This is a varied role, with broad oversight to ensure our products are taken from concept through to consumer, via effective use of systems, people and process. It involves leadership of the customer service, logistics and IT functions of our business.What are we looking for?You will be leading a well-established team with great levels of capability. We’re looking for someone with excellent project management ability, and a knack for seeking out areas for improvement and building cross-functional project teams to deliver outcomes.Experience in apparel would be a plus. A passion for finding new ways to solve problems and capitalise on opportunities to achieve business objectives including the use of AI – is a must. You need to be familiar with ERP systems and have unwavering energy for bringing people together from across the business to work together to make real change.RequirementsShared:Be a visible advocate of shared processes & workflows across all regions and channels of Mons, with the effective use of technology at the core. Be a champion of the company critical path, ensuring your team priorities on-time and effective execution of their inputs, with a particular focus on delivery of goods to market & customers.Team Leadership:Guide your team towards achieving company goals and promote a positive team culture. Cultivate an atmosphere of collaboration and communication, equipping your team members with the necessary tools for success.Investment:Be responsible for ensuring Mons ROI on spend and resource allocation, particularly across ICT and logistics. Develop and present business cases for future additions to the tech stack to support the strategic objectives of the business.
