Our client in Avondale is looking for a qualified ECT (provisional or full) to join their Pasifika focused centre and help make a positive impact on local tamariki. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the local community where whanau and taking care of future generations is key.As an early childhood teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high quality care and education to young children whilst also incorporating the rich cultural heritage of Samoa into the curriculum.Key Responsibilities

Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum that reflects Pasifika culture and values
Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and promotes cultural awareness
Communicating effectively with children, families and colleagues preferably in English/Samoan
Collaborating with families to support holistic development of each child
Participating in professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge of ECE

Requirements

Must be qualified and registered ECE/Primary teacher Level 7 Minimum
Must be in New Zealand and hold valid work rights
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (Samoan speaking desirable) but if you can understand by listening that is ok as well.
Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children
