- Conduct MRI procedures efficiently and accurately in accordance with company protocols.
- Ensure all administrative processes, including patient information input, billing, and image processing, are completed accurately.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients, providing clear explanations of procedures and ensuring a polite and caring environment.
- Maintain knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and procedures, adhering to all safety precautions to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Perform quality control procedures and report any issues to the Charge MRI Technologist.
- Collaborate with the MRI team to organize workflow and support student training within the department.
- Statement of Accreditation from the Australian Institute of Radiography (AU).
- Radiation License under the Radiation Protection Act (AU).
- AHPRA (AU).
- MRI scope of practice with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board or a valid exemption.
- Sound knowledge of MRI techniques, safety guidelines, and best practices.
- Ability to operate MRI equipment and conduct cannulations under the guidance of a radiologist.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
