With over 35 years of growth, innovation, and excellence, Seeka is proud to deliver world-class produce to a growing global market.We're now looking for an Electrician - Postharvest to join our dynamic team.In this vital role, you'll ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all electrical systems across our packhouses and refrigeration facilities. From preventative maintenance to troubleshooting and continuous improvement, you'll play a key part in supporting smooth, uninterrupted postharvest operations.What You'll Be Doing

Perform inspections, fault diagnosis, and repairs on electrical and refrigeration systems.
Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance across packhouse equipment, buildings, and automated systems.
Support health and safety compliance, including LOTO and permit-to-work processes.
Maintain accurate data entry and documentation in our CMMS system.
Collaborate with contractors, OEMs, and suppliers for optimal system performance.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and identify engineering solutions.
Specify and manage spare parts and inventory levels.
Be available for variable hours and respond to call-out work as required.

Technical Knowledge & Experience Required

Computer literate; experience with CMMS systems desirable.
Proven experience with PLCs (Omron preferred), SCADA/HMI, and Variable Speed Drives (VSDs).
Skilled in diagnostics, fault-finding, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, controls, and automation safety.
Experience in manufacturing or postharvest facilities, particularly with automated equipment.
Knowledge of health & safety legislation including machinery guarding

Qualifications & Licences

Electrical Trade Certificate
EWRB Registered Electrician
Full driver's license
