About the roleAn opportunity has arisen for a client Portfolio Reporting Specialist to join our Portfolio Reporting team working in our Head Office, Tauranga. Our Portfolio Reporting team is an integral part of Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) providing key reporting services to our premier clients and to CIP's management. This is a vital business advisory role where you will support our client portfolio reports and tax queries. This is permanent full time position working Monday to Friday.The Portfolio Reporting Specialist provides support across the portfolio reporting team, assessing work carried out within the client reporting systems to ensure various reporting and source databases maintain data integrity, answering queries from clients and accountants with regards to portfolio performance and taxation reporting, and proactively identifying ways to refine and evolve our reporting approach.This role also acts as a key business advisor for our Private Wealth advisory network and Craigs clients. Therefore, this role would suit someone who is comfortable discussing accounting and tax matters with a range of people, answering queries from clients and accountants. The role is also required to champion continuous improvement and automation by identifying opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance system efficiency.About youAs this role has exposure across multiple client entities, this role would ideally suit someone with prior experience in a chartered accountancy practise. A background in finance or asset management, and accounting and tax, would be advantageous. You will also require an understanding of securities and foreign investment funds.We are looking for someone who has experience in reporting, with an ability to communicate core concepts, successfully managing a database with a high degree of accuracy in numerical data and client information, and an ability to review and improve reporting systems and processes.The successful candidate will have strong organisational, administrative and communication skills (both written and verbal). You will be technically savvy with an affinity for picking up new systems and processes quickly and enjoy investigating and solving problems.Benefits
