About the role:Grow your career as an Electrician/Electrical fitter within our team based in either New Plymouth or Hawera.- whether you have previous high voltage experience, or if you are looking for a change from industrial work - this could be your next role. You will be responsible for the provision of electrical fitting services, including construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations.Nga pūkenga matua | Important SkillsIt is essential that you are an experienced Electrician or equivalent with knowledge of the power industry, with experience in Distribution or transmission and can offer:

Relevant EWRB registration and practising licence
Current Class 1 driver's licence (and Class 2 preferred)
Sound Substation knowledge of electrical test equipment, systems and procedures
Strong planning and organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
The physical stamina required to perform manual labour, often in difficult conditions.
