As a team leader, you'll be jumping into this conversation alongside the team, and working with the leadership team to set the direction.Key responsibilities include;
Provide clear leadership alongside, mentoring, coaching and individual development plans to ensure a high performing team
Supporting the effective and efficient prioritisation of workloads across team members
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Provide technical advice and support across team and wider organisation
Ngā Pukenga | What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you'll bring;
Tertiary level qualification and/or equivalent experience working to a senior level
Proven experience leading a high performing team
Effective communication skills, and an ability to think and plan strategically
Proven experience working in a regulatory environment with strong knowledge of legislative frameworks
A working knowledge of Resource Management Act 1991 and Local Government Act 2002
