It is a permanent, part time 0.8 FTE position working 32 hours per week at Whangarei Hospital.Our Emergency Nurse Practitioner team practice independently and collaboratively to utilise advanced health assessment, diagnosis and treatment implementation in both adult and paediatric patients to reduce waiting times, reduce ED length of stay and increase patient satisfaction for people presenting to the Emergency Department.The role also provides clinical expertise and leadership to optimise patient outcomes and develop effective models of care in the department through quality initiatives, teaching, and mentoring.The salary range for this role is from $101,089 - $111,695.Key Requirements
  • Current Nursing Registration in New Zealand with a current Practicing Certificate
  • 5 years' experience in relevant specialty area, preferably Emergency Nursing
  • Holds relevant Post Graduate Diploma and Expert PDRP level
  • Clinical teaching skills
  • Computer literacy
