This dynamic position provides high quality clinical psychology assessment and intervention to children and young people with developmental and disability needs and their family/whānau.Based at Starship Hospital, Grafton, provides services for children and young people with a wide range of conditions. The nature of these includes e.g. ADHD, anxiety in association with pain, and concerns about intellectual disability, therefore benefit from psychological assessment and input in addition to medical care.You will be working alongside experienced psychology colleagues and have a connection with the MDT. The team is friendly, hard-working and motivated to provide high quality assessments and interventions for children; young people and their whānau attending Starship Child Health.Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important SkillsTo apply for this role, you must be a New Zealand Registered Clinical Psychologist with a current Annual Practising Certificate and a clean full driver’s licence. Experience working with children with disabilities is desired.
