It's a hands on role where you will get to work on a real variety of Civil Design work.Here's a snapshot of the role...

Create 2D models and CAD drawings for civil engineering projects, including but not limited to road design, highways, and related infrastructure.
Collaborate with designers & engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and specifications.
Assist in the interpretation of design sketches and technical drawings to produce detailed and accurate CAD drawings.
Participate in the review and modification of drawings to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
Support the preparation and organisation of project documentation.
Learn and implement industry best practices for CAD drafting.
Work closely with project teams to meet deadlines and project milestones.
Assist in maintaining and updating drawing files and records.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes and standards.

This is an ideal role for someone who can critically analyse data and situations and come up with creative solutions. You have curiosity and a passion to extend and challenge yourself whilst keeping up to date on industry and engineering standards.Here's the technical aspect of what we are looking for:

Minimum of a relevant technical diploma/certification or relevant experience
Proficiency in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD
Proficiency in producing CAD drawings, including roading, civil and structural drawings. Other experience considered
