Join our Enliven team as a Physiotherapist and work across our three facilities; Ross Home, St Andrews & Taieri Court in Dunedin/ Mosgiel.The RoleYou will support the independence and wellbeing of people living in residential care by providing assessments, designing and managing exercise programmes, and contributing to care plans. You will also guide efforts to improve residents/ residents' function and quality of life by providing training/education to staff.Hours: Permanent 0.95 FTE; 38 hours per week.About YouWe are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist with a practical approach, who is a positive role model, having commitment, energy and a “can do” attitude who will be responsible for delivering best practice in a manner that supports our organisation values and vision.
  • A current annual Practising Certificate
  • A current New Zealand driver's licence
  • Approved 'Enable' Assessor
  • Experience in the support and/or rehabilitation of older people
  • Commitment to and promotion of the Enliven philosophy
  • Highly developed communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of people
  • Respect for others, a non-judgmental attitude, and a sense of humour
  • Well-developed planning, organising, time management and prioritising skills
