Your role is to work within the team to assist nursing staff in care delivery, one-to-one patient watches and other tasks as directed.Every day is different and our nursing team enjoys the variety of work, the people they interact with, and the challenge of giving each patient the best customer experience, whilst ensuring that everything runs to schedule.We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly person to join our team working 40 hours a fortnight (0.5FTE) on a permanent basis.Your hours of work will be:
  • Tuesday to Friday
  • 5 hour shifts
  • Between the hours of 9.30AM to 3.00PM
About the Team/LocationThe Oncology Nursing team are a group of community focussed, specialised nurses who care for people with cancer from diagnostic work up, through treatment and into the survivorship period and/or palliative care. Patients are seen in their own homes, the Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy outpatient clinics and in the hospital wards.Nelson Marlborough Health is the main health provider for the Te Tau Ihu, the top of the south.   • Year 11 NCEA level 1 English (or equivalent)
  • Year 11 NCEA level 1 Maths (or equivalent)
