With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and integrity, we’re shaping the landscape of New Zealand’s construction industry.Role Overview:As an Intermediate Project Manager based in Wellington, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to handover. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Track project finances, including budget management, cost tracking and financial reporting.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment to achieve project success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality results.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Procore) is preferred.
