Have a look at our other great benefitsTe kōwhiringa | The OpportunityBased at our Auckland Laboratory and reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will provide a testing and technical support services for projects throughout the North Island. Our laboratory is responsible for ensuring all products - such as asphalt, construction aggregates and soils are tested, to the appropriate quality, standards and customer specifications. This role will include laboratory, field testing and pavement investigations, giving a great variety of work and the opportunity to work in different locations.Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

Laboratory experience, preferably in the civil engineering field, both in laboratory and field-based testing
A relevant science tertiary qualification will be an added advantage
A strong attention to detail with solid MS Excel & Word skills
The ability to work as part of a team and with some leadership experience
Excellent communication skills
A current full Class 1 driver's licence
Ability to work Night Shifts as standing working hours would be from 8pm to 4:30am Sunday to Thursday.
