This position requires a part-time teacher (0.8FTE), of student contact working with small groups time plus 1 hour for either a jazz band, orchestra or school choirOur ideal candidate will:

Enjoy working with children from 11 to 13 years and can build effective learning relationships with them
Experience in teaching music at either primary or intermediate level
Fun and energetic
Demonstrates great skills across a range of music disciplines and sets high standards of performance.

Visits to the school are highly encouraged and you can see what we get up to.We have a very well-resourced and organised music department with strong support available. Our Intermediate School is committed to quality teaching and learning, nurturing a positive environment and working within a culturally responsive framework.
