Job Title: Community Support Worker (experienced in Mental health and Intellectual disabilities)Employment Type - Part-time or CasualLocation - Wellington / Manawatu / Whanganui /Hawkes Bay / Palmerston North
  • Are you looking to join a team that provides support to people within their own homes, through a mix of short- and long-term contracts?
  • We require applicants that have experience in working with people who have mental health and intellectual / disabilities and work with a strengths-based approach
  • Someone who brings experience, knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of working with families, including people recovering from accidents or have long-term conditions.
  • You will be involved in personal support, household management, shopping, meal preparation, social and other activities as planned
  • You will bring an understanding and engagement of living and connecting to support within communities
  • You will be someone who has mature thinking, a common-sense approach, good initiative, a good engager, relator, has a great sense of humour and importantly a positive communicator.
This is community-based work, rotating rosters involving and including am, pm, sleepover and weekend work.
