You'll be part of a team that's collaborative, values your input and empowers your development.We need a reliable and dedicated person to assist with keeping our assets around the city well maintained. As our Serviceperson (Litter), you will be responsible for:
  • keeping our suburban shopping centres tidy and presented to a high standard through rubbish removal and cleaning
  • ensuring cleanliness of litter bins and outdoor assets
  • emptying litter bins within the Porirua area within scheduled cycles
  • being polite, calm and customer focused when talking with retailers and members of the public while representing the City Services team.
All about youIt would be fabulous if you have experience in an active role, can demonstrate commitment and reliability and that you:
  • enjoy working outdoors and bring a safety approach to your work
  • enjoy working in a team and on your own and can demonstrate using your initiative
  • have great interpersonal skills and a proven record of reliability
  • hold a full unrestricted current driver's licence.
