Support Worker - Brain Injury & Spinal DisabilityDrake Medox Auckland is seeking a compassionate and reliable Homecare Support Worker to assist a client living with a brain injury. Are you someone who thrives on making a difference in people's lives? Do you bring positivity, empathy, and dedication to everything you do? If so, we'd love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities

Support daily living activities to promote independence and well-being.
Maintain a safe and welcoming home environment (includes household animals).
Communicate effectively with the client and their wider support network.
Assist with meal preparation and medication administration.
Support with personal care (showering, toileting, etc.) and bowel management.
Facilitate community outings and engagement.Perform manual handling and hoist transfers.

What We're Looking For

A caring, people-focused individual with a positive, can-do attitude.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Excellent communication skills.
Legal right to work in New Zealand.
Comfortable working in homes with animals.
Respectful and committed to upholding dignity in care.
Full NZ driver's licence (van driving experience a bonus).
Availability for both day and night shifts.

What We Offer

Competitive pay based onNZQA qualification level:

Level 2 - $26.10/hr
Level 3 - $28.36/hr
Level 4 - $30.61/hr
Mileage reimbursement.
