Here's your chance to join the Mount Maunganui Manufacturing team where we take pride in taking on projects, big and small and delivering them to world-class standards - every time!As the evening shift Bitumen Plant Operator, you will primarily load out Bituminous products to customers. In addition, it may also include the manufacture of high-quality products from the bitumen, emulsion and PMB facilities located at Road Science Bitumen plants.It will also involve transfers and prework activities to maintain and improve manufacturing productivity. This includes an active involvement in manufacturing activities, responsibility for the day to day operational activities, safety & environmental responsibilities, and plant maintenance.Nga pūkenga matua | Important SkillsAlong with a positive attitude and your commitment to safe worksite practises, you will have a proven ability to ensure proper care, maintenance and operation of appropriate plant and equipment. You will also have:

Strong communication skills and customer-focused, “can do” attitude
Tertiary or trade qualification (preferably in engineering, manufacturing, or a technical field)
Several years' manufacturing experience, ideally in bituminous or chemical production
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Proficient in Excel and database management
