Permanent Full-TimeAlongside our main Council office building and corporate lease spaces in the Hastings CBD, Hastings District Council manages a fleet of approximately 100 vehicles and a range of essential corporate service contracts. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Contracts and Facilities Manager to join our Finance and Procurement Group.As our Corporate Contracts and Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the Council's central administration building, overseeing the Council's vehicle fleet, and managing a range of key corporate contracts. This is a varied and hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on ownership, leadership, and problem-solving.Ōu wheako - about youTo be successful in this role you will:
- Bring proven experience managing contracts, buildings, and fleet operations
- Understand budgeting, compliance, and project delivery in a public or corporate setting
- Be a proactive leader who motivates others and builds strong working relationships
- Have excellent communication skills and a strong customer service ethic
- Ideally hold a qualification in Facilities Management, Business, or Project management - this is not essential
