Engari, he toa takitini.Success is not the work of one, but the work of many.Location: Hawke’s Bay HospitalService: PharmacyContract: Permanent, Part-time 40 hours per fortnight (0.5 FTE)Korero mō te tūranga| About the roleWe have an opportunity for a fixed rotational Clinical Pharmacist to join our friendly team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Māui Hawke’s Bay.In this role you will be delivering pharmaceutical care and advice to inpatients and doctors during fixed rotations through:
  • Intensive Care Unit
  • Emergency Department
  • Acute Assessment Unit
This new role would suit a pharmacist who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment and is ready to focus on, or has a special interest in these areas. It would also give you a chance to grow your leadership and mentoring skills with staff who rotate through the acute services team.Mō tō mātou rōpū | About our teamWe are a collaborative and supportive team looking for a colleague who shares our values of Respect, Partnership, Care and Improvement.Moū | About youWe are interested in hearing from Pharmacists with hospital pharmacy experience or Pharmacists keen to expand their career into hospital pharmacy. When you join our team, we will provide support and guidance as you grow your clinical skills. We have regular journal clubs, grand rounds, clinical talks and an Education and Training Pharmacist to support your growth and development. We also look to support other external training opportunities.In Hawke's Bay the local branch of the PSNZ is active in organising continuing education sessions and has a great Early Career Pharmacist Network if applicable to you.You will be imperative to the training of Intern Pharmacists and undergraduates and provide support to the wider pharmacy team including supporting dispensary functions.
