Our vision is that all rural communities are connected and thriving, and we work to ensure the social, economic, and personal wellbeing of rural women and their families.What You'll Be Doing:
Building trusted relationships across rural Southland communities
Connecting rural women and their families with the right social and wellbeing services
Advocating for better service delivery and providing valuable feedback to government agencies
Collaborating with local Rural Women NZ branches, MPI Groups, and other rural service partners
Hosting both face-to-face and online engagement opportunities
What We're Looking For:
Knows the Southland rural community and has strong local networks
Is an excellent listener who can work with empathy and cultural understanding
Can lead, influence, and collaborate with people from all walks of life
Brings resilience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting rural wellbeing
Is available for work when it suits the community, this may include weekends and evenings
