From campervans to cars and motorhomes, we help travelers explore New Zealand and Australia with freedom and confidence.About the RoleWe're looking for a skilled Mechanic to work in our fully equipped workshop at our Christchurch Branch on our rental fleet of cars, campervans and motorhomes. Be immersed in our JUCY culture and work alongside Mechanics, Domestic Technicians, Customer Service Representatives and Detailers. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and road-ready at all times.Key Responsibilities

Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on rental vehicles
Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet road compliance standards
Maintain accurate service records and report on vehicle condition
Support the fleet team with vehicle preparation and maintenance scheduling
Identify and report any recurring mechanical issues

The successful applicant will be punctual, reliable, and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. In addition to carrying out routine and complex mechanical servicing and repairs on cars, campervans, and motorhomes, the role also includes performing minor domestic repairs as required.What We’re Looking For

Trade qualification as an Automotive Mechanic/Foreman
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mechanical workshop or fleet environment
Sound knowledge of modern petrol and diesel vehicle systems
Full NZ Driver’s Licence

Ability to make decisions in a logical and sensible way
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to foresee and resolve problems in a timely manner
