About the CompanyOur client is part of a national government organisation, and is responsible for the provision of healthcare services to the general population within Aotearoa New Zealands’ Te Waipounamu – South IslandAbout the Role:We are recruiting for a Solutions Architect, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of national programmes and products at a regional level. You’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality solution architecture designs that align with enterprise standards and methodologies, supporting initiatives from conception to implementation. This role involves collaboration with project managers, performing options analysis, and leading the RFx process. You’ll work within a technology landscape supporting numerous users and critical applications, with a focus on a 24×7 Services organisation across New Zealand.As the ideal candidate, you will be a Solutions Architect with a few years of experience under your belt and a background in development, integration and cloud platforms. You will be confident in bringing your knowledge of Microsoft development frameworks and cloud platforms to support effective application delivery, and will be confident in communication and collaboration with a broad range of both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Day to Day Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project and program managers to design and tailor national programs for the South Island.
Develop solution designs, focusing on integration points, platform requirements, and customisation for the South Island.
Work closely with business analysts and front-line staff to ensure fit-for-purpose Solution Delivery.
Ensure solutions adhere to a cloud-first approach, with exposure to DevOps and Azure Cloud technologies.
Support the delivery and customisation of nationally approved solutions for the regional level.

Skills & Experience Required:

Strong experience as a Solutions Architect with confident understanding of design patterns.Background in software development, DevOps or Cloud Platforms.
Strong exposure to DevOps practices and cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
Proficiency in .NET, C#, and Microsoft frameworks.
Experience in the health sector is preferred.
South Island-based role with the ability to travel as needed.
