
Psychology Internship or Placement (Forensic Rehabilitation) - Wellington

- Assessing clients (under clinical supervision / managerial discretion) to identify the client's risks, needs and goals.
- Developing and implementing focused pieces of work to address specific behaviours / needs as directed and supervised.
- Monitoring and evaluating these interventions to ensure they are effectively meeting clients' goals and promoting their well-being.

- Fully funded Annual Practice Certificate (APC) (where appropriate)
- A minimum of a master's degree in psychology.
- You may also be eligible for Registration (Intern) in a relevant scope of practice (e.g., Health, Clinical, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Forensic) with the New Zealand Psychology Board.
- Cultural competence and the ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tirirti o Waitangi
- An interest in working in the Health and Disability sector. Previous experience working in Health and Disability would be highly valued.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience
- Ability to work in an environment with diverse individuals, being open-minded and non-judgmental in your approach
- Have a full NZ drivers' licence
- your relevant academic and practical experience
- your level of completed study and proposed pathway to registration
