If you want to be part of our great team, we have the opportunity for a suitably experienced and skilled person to step into a busy and demanding Administrator role.About the roleThis position reports directly to the Senior People & Culture Partner and is based at the reception area, where it entails providing comprehensive administrative support to various functions within the organization. The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities including administrative tasks, financial duties, contractor management and inductions, visitor handling, switchboard operation, and various other duties.As the initial point of contact for visitors and callers, we are seeking an individual who exudes warmth, friendliness, and professionalism. Additionally, strong computer literacy in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, thriving in problem-solving scenarios and maintaining a positive and cheerful demeanour.The key determinants of success in this role include resilience and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced and intricate environment. If you have a genuine passion for working with people and possess prior experience in administrative roles or similar fields, this opportunity is well-suited for you. A good sense of humour is highly valued.The capacity to execute delegated tasks and projects with minimal supervision is fundamental to this position. Self-assurance and effective organisational skills, particularly in prioritising tasks and managing time, are indispensable. The ability to perform under pressure and a willingness to contribute beyond the scope of regular duties when necessary are also essential attributes.The ideal candidate should have:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A calm, proactive approach to challenges with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Focused on finding solutions.
  • Great customer service skills
  • Warm and engaging as the 'first face' of Tegel NP at Reception and on the phone.
  • The capability to deal with people on all levels.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
