Colwyn House Lifecare is a 69-bed Care Home, located in Hastings, Hawkes Bay.
Permanent full-time (32 hours or more per week)
Hourly rate between $30.03 per hour
AM, PM, Night and Weekend shifts

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Caregiver with a passion for caring for others, to make a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents. You will have a positive compassionate attitude, the ability to make others smile, and be great at working with people. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our residents are cared for to the highest standard with kindness and patience, in a warm and caring atmosphereYour Skills and Experience:

Proven experience caring for others, ideally within an aged care environment.
Minimum NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, or an equivalent New Zealand or overseas qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma in Nursing)
Dementia experience is desirable.
At least six months experience as a caregiver or in similar role
Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
A genuine love for helping people, excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude.
A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures.
