About your new role:Speirs Finance Group have an opportunity for a Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our talented team. We're a rapidly growing finance business looking for a Risk and Compliance Analyst to support the organisation's risk management and compliance functions on core business processes. The role will suit someone with sound commercial acumen, an extensive knowledge of financial services, in particular in the asset finance and leasing industry and practical understanding of relevant regulations and standards.Key responsibilities:

Ensure all AML/CFT regulatory obligations are met and AML/CFT policies and procedures up kept up to date along with providing training or guidance to staff on compliance requirements as needed.
Conduct regular quality assurance reviews of key business processes and recommend improvements or corrective actions.
Gathering and validating for Enterprise Risk Reporting and assisting in the preparation of risk reports and dashboards for senior management and the Board, providing clear insight into the company's risk profile.
Engaging in initiatives to improve or streamline risk and compliance processes.

What you will need to succeed:

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Risk Management or similar
Postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications in compliance or risk (e.g., ACAMS certification for AML/CFT, or other risk management certifications) would be an advantage.
Extensive knowledge of financial services, in particular asset finance and leasing
2+ years Industry experience in roles that include AML/CFTR compliance & operational risk or process reviews responsibilities
