We’re expanding our pool of Heavy Machine Operators for on-call and short-term assignments across a range of essential industries. If you’re an experienced operator looking for flexible work — with the potential for permanent roles — this could be a great fit for you.Industries You May Work In:

Construction and earthmoving
Waste and recycling services
Transport and delivery
Utility and road maintenance

Key Duties:

Operate heavy machinery (e.g. excavators, bulldozers, loaders, rollers, graders)
Perform daily checks and basic maintenance
Load and move materials safely
Follow site instructions and health & safety protocols
Assist with earthworks, trenching, grading, and backfilling tasks

Hours & Locations:This is temporary and on-call work, so flexibility is key. Most assignments are short-term, but permanent opportunities may arise based on performance and client needs.
Worksites are spread throughout the Hutt Valley.What You’ll Need:

A valid Class 2–4 license
WTR endorsement (Wheels, Tracks & Rollers)
Proven experience operating heavy machinery
A clean driving record
Good physical fitness and work ethic
Reliable, punctual, and ready to go on short notice
