We pride ourselves on delivering precise, compassionate care in a calm, clinical settingJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our surgical team on a permanent, part-time basis, with set hours every second Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm), plus additional casual shifts to cover leave and staff absences.This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to step into the dental surgical field and support a team of highly skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Your work will directly contribute to safe, smooth surgical procedures and a positive experience for every patient — particularly during IV sedation and recovery.Your key responsibilities:Monitoring patients during and after surgery, ensuring their safety and comfortSupporting infection control and sterilisation standardsProviding patient education and post-operative instructionsFlexibly supporting other areas of the practice when needed (e.g. admin or prep)QualificationsWe’re looking for a confident, compassionate nurse who’s comfortable in a fast-paced, clinical environment and is eager to learn something new.You will ideally have:Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a valid APCExperience in surgical, perioperative, or theatre settings (preferred)Familiarity with scrubbing and circulating duties (advantageous but not essential)A strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute to a small, close-knit teamExcellent attention to detail and a patient-focused approachFlexibility to work additional casual shifts as requiredAdditional InformationReady to Make a Difference in Your Community?Apply today to join the friendly team at Wellington Oral Surgery
