This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee daily operations, manage subcontractors and field staff, and delivery of projects that keep New Zealand moving.As our Contract Supervisor, you will:
Manage day-to-day operations of maintenance projects under the guidance of the Contract Manager
Coordinate staff and subcontractors to meet schedules and deliverables
Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards
Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to field crews
Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
QualificationsTo be successful in this position, you will have:
3+ years of experience in civil infrastructure maintenance or roading
Supervisory experience in contract or project delivery
Knowledge of RAMM, STMS Level 1 (preferred), and a Full NZ Class 1 driver's license
Strong planning, scheduling, and coordination skills
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities
A collaborative, can-do attitude and a commitment to safety-first culture
