At the back you will be required to inspect vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, refuelling vehicles, driving and parking our cars and the bulk of the work will be cleaning vehicles (interior, exterior and vacuuming) in the wash bay so they are ready for our customers.For the other 50% of this role, you will be in the front at the counter interacting with our customers, marketing products and services, completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings and making sure our customers receive exceptional service.What we are looking for:Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role.Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar rolesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while delivery exceptional customer service.Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information (training will be provided)Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.We work 7 days per week from 8:00 am to 6.30 pm, in this part time 20-hour role we are looking to cover the following shift each week:Wednesday - 09.30 - 16.00Thursday - 09.30 - 16.00Friday - 09.30 - 16.00Saturday - 09.30 - 16.00We also have a casual role available - no guaranteed hours working only as and when needed during our operational hours.What’s on offer:$25.63 per hour, plus increase your earnings with our sales incentive scheme.Uniform provided.Parking provided.Full training provided to help you achieve your goals & reach your potential.Wellbeing programme incl. life insurance, discounted health insurance and superannuation optionsEmployee discounts on car rental across Avis Budget Group and our partnersAccess to discounts and offers from retailers and big brands.If you would like join our wonderful team and represent Avis Budget Group, then we want to hear from you!
