The role is responsible for supporting the global needs of Fisher & Paykel Appliances.As a Full-stack Developer, you will work with the Digital business unit as well as others to develop and enhance systems around the digital platforms used by Fisher and Paykel. You will work closely with the digital, platform and delivery teams to design and deliver that align to the IT Strategy and Roadmap.Your key responsibilities in this role include:Define, analyse and design implementation approaches, gain product or solution architect approvalCollaborate with internal teams to produce functional designs.Implement scalable, highly available, efficient, and robust end to end solutions.Building reusable code and libraries for future use.Participate in the entire application lifecycle covering backend and frontend focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.Refactor existing applications to optimize its performance through setting the appropriate architecture and integration using best practices and standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse, implement, test and ship new features.Developing Integration solutions with third-party Platforms or Data SourcesAn ability to advise and interact with all levels of management and staffExcellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills.Salary range: NZD $95,000-109,000 per annumAbout YouYou will have 5+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with backend and frontend responsibilities on responsive web applications. As a core member of the team, you will be a tenured Agile and SCRUM practitioner who enjoys the nuances of business operational processes and adept in leading and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver key outcomes.On the technical side, you'll have:5+ years of experience designing and executing complex applications using programming languages C# and Nodejs .2+ years of experience in developing APIs (REST & SOAP protocols).2+ years of strong work experience in UI framework i.e Next.js, Reactjs , Angularjs.Strong experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).Experience in AWS services (Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, Route53).Good understanding of web development principles using REST, GraphQL.Strong object-oriented JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS Modules, Web pack, Babel, npm.Proficiency in Product Information Management (PIM) and Content Management system implementation and building custom connectorsKnowledge of CSS pre-compilers like Sass and LESS is preferred.Experience with GitHub and its features (Repos, Pipelines).Familiar with e-commerce applications.Fast learner, adaptable to the latest technologies.Have a strong understanding and hands-on experience in SCRUM and Agile engineering practices.Join Our JourneyAt Fisher & Paykel Appliances, we believe that our people are our greatest assets.
