Our experienced interdisciplinary team uses a person-centred, strengths-based, solution-focused approach, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client and their whanau/family.About the Role | He kōrero mō tēnei tūrangaThis is a contracting position for a registered Occupational Therapist to join our team in Hawkes Bay. You will be working across a number of clients mostly from ACC, previous experience in wheelchair and seating and complex housing would be a real advantage. You will have the opportunity to be a part of our client's rehabilitation journey and see the results of your work. We pride ourselves on our relationships with the community, clients and colleagues so if you're someone who thrives in a collaborative, supported role then we want to hear from you!You'll be working in schools, homes, businesses and the wider community so we are looking for a candidate who gets a real kick out of collaboration and supporting clients across their recovery.This contracting role Is referral dependent and at this stage requires approximately 0.5 FTE per week.The successful candidate will be required to travel across the Hawkes Bay region so you will need to be comfortable driving and have a full clean NZ drivers licence.What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga2+ years’ experience as a NZ Registered Occupational TherapistExperience In Wheelchair and Seating & Complex Housing would be an advantageUnderstanding of, and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Current NZ Registration with OTBNZPassion to continue to learn and grow.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work well in a team.An awareness of Health Legislation and the NZ health funding systems.Ability to travel and work autonomously.Why Us | He aha ai mātou?We are committed to enhancing the wellbeing of our clients, and their whanau and communities.
