Job Description We have a vacancy for an honest reliable full time worker who will report to the Contract Milker or 2IC. We have a family friendly work environment within the team so we are looking for someone to fit in and be a team player. This position would suit an enthusiastic person wanting to learn and progress themselves in the dairy industry.
Time management is essential.
NZ dairy farming experience is essential. You must have the right attitude and motivation to want to progress in your career. Have the ability to communicate and work effectively on a regular basis with other work colleagues as well as individually.
A current New Zealand full or restricted driver's licence is essential to drive farm vehicles.
We run a 7 on 2 off 4 on 1 off roster system not what is stated below under Roster, e.g. (Sat/Sun and following Friday).
There are good opportunities for career progression on this farm as higher roles begin to open, eg. Assistant Manager. Industry training is strongly encouraged at all levels.
