The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahiAttention all Registered Clinicians (Counsellor and/or Registered Nurse with 3+ years of relevant experience in mental health.We're looking for an experienced registered clinician with 3+ years of relevant experience in mental health (Registered Nurse or counsellor preferred) and to join our Real Youth Service in Rotorua. This service provides assessment, therapy and support to young people and their whānau. It is a brief and early intervention service based in the community.You will align with our tikanga (principles) and kawa (practice) and support the clinical components of Whetū Marewa - Primary Mental Health.We provide both individual and group therapy and support sessions from our office, local schools or out in the community.   • experience working in mental health
  • an understanding of local community issues and of tikanga Māori
  • ability to develop and maintain internal and external key relationships
  • uphold the integrity and mana of both the taiohi and kaupapa
  • the ability to work independently and innovatively to engage young people/taiohi and whānau
  • an inspiring and enthusiastic outlook on life
  • a current full NZ driver's licence.
