The work is varied and interesting with a broad scope, offering insight and opportunities into many different parts of the business.The Product Specialists provide technical support, guidance and insights to deliver impactful, customer-centric changes to ACC's programme of workplace incentives and products, which include the Levy Classification System, CoverPlus Extra (CPX), Experience Rating (ER), FleetSaver and Time Out.This role helps to ensure ACC's levies are equitable for all New Zealanders and focuses on providing business customers with a quality customer experience and support to keep their workplaces safe.Key responsibilities include:
  • Operate as a representative of LPI, building the awareness, positive impact, and value of Levy Products across ACC and externally.
  • Contribute to the design, leadership and delivery of Business Industry Reviews (BIR) through the Levy Classification System.
  • Contribute to the creation, research, and presentation of strategic and operational initiatives for consideration by a range of stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Maintain clear, simple lines of communication ensuring relevant parties are consulted on Incentives & Products design, implementation, policy and process.
  • Actively identify challenges or roadblocks, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Assist and advise high value or relationship managed business customers with a range of levy and product related queries, often relating to high-risk and complex situations.
This is a permanent opportunity based in Wellington.The base salary range for this role is $85,037 - $120,052 with appointment within the range depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.About you | MōuYou'll work best in a positive and collaborative team environment where ongoing development is encouraged. You may have some experience in a product management setting or be looking to apply your foundation of business skills in this direction.To be successful in this role you will need to have:
  • Proven experience in working with strong analytical and complex problem-solving components, possibly in a finance or insurance sector setting.
  • Ability to interpret, understand and apply legislation in the creation of operational policies, guidance, and processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across the organisation and senior stakeholders.
  • An ability to explain technical ideas simply and to a range of audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work and meet tight deadlines.
  • Skill and experience in data analysis and Microsoft 365 (e.g. Power BI or Power Automate). Familiarity with KanBan and Agile methodologies would be an advantage.
