The role
We're excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a CIW Project Manager to join our Tauranga-based contracting team. As a CIW Project Manager, you'll oversee projects across the Bay of Plenty region, ensuring timely delivery within budget and upholding quality standards. Reporting to the Delivery Manager - Tauranga Projects, you'll coordinate project phases from design to completion, prioritizing safety and efficient resource utilization. Join us in delivering cost-effective solutions and maintaining client satisfaction.Being the CIW (Customer Initiated Works) Project Manager, you will also be responsible for:
- Timely and within-budget project completion
- Efficient resource management and material organization
- Effective customer communication and documentation
- Comprehensive understanding of project objectives
- Provision of detailed Work Pack information, including site specifics
- Financial monitoring and reconciliation for project success
- Expertise in electrical supply design and pricing, including subcontractor collaboration and peer review.What's in it for you?

This role requires an individual with a strong electrical background, with knowledge of customers' network standards. Ideally, you'll be someone with an understanding of how to deliver projects and would come with previous Project Management experience. Must have a can-do attitude, want to win work, and enjoy the competitive nature of this role.Additionally, possessing the following would be beneficial:
- National Certificate in Business (First Line Management) Level 4 or higher
- Ideally certified in Project Management and previous experience in a comparable role preferred
- Strong grasp of project and job management principles
- Full clean Class 1 driver's licence
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems and make decisions
- Ability to interpret financial data effectively
- Knowledge and background in electrical distribution networks
- Proficient computer skills and confident decision-making abilities
- Adept problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project
- Demonstrated capacity to cultivate and manage relationships crucial for project success.About us
