This newly created position sits within our Policy, Systems, and Change Centre of Excellence, in the People Strategy Directorate, and will lead the delivery of people-related change initiatives that support Police's strategic priorities.You will be responsible for managing multiple change projects of varying levels of complexity in line with the change pipeline. You'll lead the end-to-end delivery of some initiatives and projects, while others will require needs analysis or support with implementation planning.As the change specialist, you will be the go-to person for expert advice, support, and guidance to ensure the appropriate change methodology and framework is applied, the delivery of a consistent experience for our employees and business leaders, and an overall capability uplift of change management.Your work will directly influence how we deliver people related change projects, equip our managers to be leaders of change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.This is a high-impact role requiring exceptional stakeholder engagement, and the ability to deliver results in a complex and dynamic environment.Key Accountabilities:
  • Proven experience providing high-quality advice and guidance to customers, peers, and key leaders.
  • A strong background in organisational design, change, and project delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and prepare an implementation plan for handover to enabling teams and functions.
  • A collaborative and facilitative style, with high emotional intelligence, the ability to influence outcomes, and provide leaders with confidence.

  • Strong experience as a HR Practitioner and a proven record of delivering on employee-centric change outcomes.
  • Extensive experience managing and leading projects and balancing competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated success in leading organisational design, and change initiatives across complex environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to enrol, connect, engage, inform, and negotiate effectively across diverse stakeholders and leadership levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to create project documentation and ensure it is suitable for the requirements of wider stakeholders.
