From day trips and cooking to arts, science, and sports – no two days are ever the same. Come join us and bring out your inner child!Job DescriptionThis is a casual, as-required role. When rostered, most of your shifts will be during our after-school sessions (2:30pm – 6:00pm), with occasional opportunities to help in before-school sessions (7:00am – 8:30am). Extra hours may also be available during school holiday programmes, depending on rosters. This role is located mainly in Newlands, however with the opportunity to work at other sites if you are willing to travel.What You’ll Do,You’ll be the friendly face and helping hand that makes our programmes fun, safe, and engaging for tamariki.
  • Join the fun: Supervise and support children as they dive into a variety of activities.
  • Keep it safe & tidy: Make sure the environment is clean, hygienic, and safe for everyone – kids, staff, parents, and visitors.
  • Be a right-hand hero: Assist the Programme Manager in running the day’s schedule and activities.
  • Stay connected: Share any concerns or behaviour updates with the Programme Manager so we can support every child.

QualificationsYou will,
  • Hold a valid visa to work in New Zealand without restrictions
  • Be able to commute/ work around the sites above.
  • Have keen interest to work in similar industries
  • have previous experience working with children, it can be from babysitting or any volunteered experience.
