- Manage Foodstuffs South Island (SI) business to achieve Net sales (NES) and GP (GP1) targets in line with Henkel's annual plans; Develop and implement strategic joint business plans with Foodstuffs SI aligned with Henkel's objectives to achieve mutual growth for Henkel and Foodstuffs SI
- Play a lead role in leadership of the Henkel NZ business through proactively engaging with planning processes and role-modelling excellent leadership behaviors within the business
- Build and maintain a calendar year activity program with Foodstuffs to achieve sales targets and exceed brand exposure expectations instore; Effectively utilise Trade Promotions spend to achieve sales growth within spend parameters
- Manage demand forecast for Foodstuffs SI nationally at or above target levels at Month -2 (M-2) and Month -0 (M-0); Leverage category data to generate category sales opportunities for the Foodstuffs SI business through effective collaboration with the customer marketing team and individual category analysis
- Deliver Foodstuffs SI engagement and satisfaction scores as measured through Advantage Group Survey; Build and implement NPD plans to deliver best in class execution in store
- Foster a strong collaborative working relationship with the National Field Sales Manager to ensure account objectives are met in-store, and field sales requirements are consistently exceeded; Oversee all aspects of Henkel's financial interactions with Foodstuffs SI to ensure timely and effective collecting of cash and payment of debits (e.g. Claims processing, outstanding invoices, etc.)
- Develop and build cross functional relationships between Henkel and Foodstuffs SI (e.g. Supply Chain / customer service, etc.); Work as a strategic partner building strong rapport, relationships, and effective communication both internally and externally
- Achievement of individual and company objectives; Ensure all the activities comply with relevant acts, legal demands, and ethical standards
- Minimum of (5) years sales experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
- Experience in managing the Foodstuffs business
- Relevant tertiary qualifications is preferred
- A strong negotiator with exceptional analytical and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and direct strategies and build relationships.
