- This is a full-time, permanent position from Monday to Friday
- Pruning, trimming, de-limbing and dismantling trees using a variety of methods and equipment, e.g. chainsaws.
- Felling trees by applying appropriate felling techniques and equipment for different situations, including machine-assisted tree felling.
- Disposing of trimmed and felled vegetation by using appropriate equipment, e.g. brush chippers, grinders.
- Carrying out ground-based duties and applying safety observer procedures as required.
- Completing required job documentation as required by the company or client.
- Communicating with landowners on work to be performed as required.
- Operating specialist vehicles in off-road environments to carry out vegetation work.
- An awareness of industry safety requirements.
- Previous experience and aptitude for outdoor work.
- A minimum of NZQA level 1 is desirable.
