This role suits a commercially astute QS who thrives on variety, challenge, and working as a trusted advisor alongside project managers.The Role As a key member of the delivery team, you'll take the lead on quantity surveying and contract administration for projects in the $5m-$20m range. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing procurement and subcontractor negotiations
Supporting PMs through builds with measurement, valuations, and reporting
Handling progress payments, claims, and final accounts
Identifying cost risks and value engineering opportunities
Contributing commercial insight and clarity to project delivery
You'll work across both office and site environments, playing an active part in driving project performance and financial outcomes.What You'll Bring
Relevant QS qualifications and 3+ years' experience in NZ
Strong contract administration and cost control skills
Solid understanding of contracts (NZ3910 or similar)
Experience on commercial or industrial projects
A team-first attitude and excellent communication skills
